    Carnival Cruise Lines is a British-American owned cruise line, based in the Doral suburb of Miami, Florida in the United States. Originally an independent company founded in 1972 by Ted Arison, the company is now one of eleven cruise ship brands owned and operated by Carnival Corporation & plc. The company has the largest fleet in the group, with twenty two vessels currently in operation. 
  • Celebrity Cruises
    Celebrity Cruises is a cruise line founded in 1988 by the Greek Chandris Group.In 1997, Celebrity Cruises Ltd. merged with Royal Caribbean International to become Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., which operates Celebrity, Royal Caribbean International, Azamara Club Cruises, Pullmantur Cruises and CDF Croisieres de France. The signature "X" displayed on the funnel of Celebrity ships is the Greek letter chi, for "Chandris".The company has its headquarters in Miami, Florida. Common features on board Celebrity brand ships are aft-glass dining rooms, formal foyer areas, alternate dining venues, balcony and suite staterooms, large pools and lounging areas, signature bars and lounges, libraries, elegant spas and gyms, and relaxation areas.
  • Azarmara Club Cruises
    Azamara Club Cruises (formerly Azamara Cruises) is a deluxe cruise line owned by the Norwegian-American company, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., as one of their subsidiaries. The line currently operates two ships, the Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. The company has a similar ideology to Oceania Cruises, which offers all-inclusive deluxe cruises. The cruise line is positioned to be at an upmarket status, but avoids to be considered as a luxury cruise line.
  • Norwegian Cruise lines
    Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is a company operating cruise ships, headquartered in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida.It began operations in 1966 under the name Norwegian Caribbean Line. The company is best known for its Freestyle Cruising concept, which means that there are no set times or seating arrangements for meals, nor is formal attire required. Norwegian Cruise Line has a sister company, NCL America. NCL itself is jointly owned by Star Cruises (who in turn are owned by the Genting Group based in Malaysia) and Apollo Management, with both companies owning 50% of NCL.
  • Disney Cruise Line
    Disney Cruise Line was created in 1995 when the company commissioned its two ships at Fincantieri in Italy, ending an arrangement with Premier Cruise Line for the maritime segment of its vacation packages. Disney had contracted Premier Cruise Line to provide cruise vacations in the 1980s, also sailing from Port Canaveral. The ships were similarly marketed as family vacations and featured costumed Disney Characters. 
  • Holland America
    Holland America operates fourteen ships, ranging from the smaller and older S Class vessels; the mid range R Class; the Vista class; the newest and largest Signature class and the small 793-passenger Prinsendam (originally the Royal Viking Sun, then Seabourn Sun until HAL's purchase of the vessel in 2002). All HAL ships have a dark blue hull with white superstructure, with the line's logo featured prominently on the functional smoke stacks.
  • Cunard
    In 1998 Cunard was sold to the cruise line conglomerate Carnival Corporation for US$500 million. The next year Carnival acquired the remaining stock for US$205 million.Each of Carnival's cruise lines is positioned to appeal to a different market, and Carnival was interested in rebuilding Cunard as a luxury brand trading on its British traditions. Under the slogan "Advancing Civilization Since 1840," Cunard's advertising campaign sought to emphasize the elegance and mystique of ocean travel.[33] Only the QE2 and Caronia continued under the Cunard brand and the company started Project Queen Mary to build a new ocean liner/cruise ship for the transatlantic route.
  • Princess Cruises
    Princess Cruises is a British-American owned cruise line, based in Santa Clarita, California in the United States.Previously a subsidiary of P&O Princess Cruises PLC, the company is now one of eleven cruise ship brands operated by Carnival Corporation & PLC. Being based in America, executive control of Princess Cruises was transferred to Carnival Corporation's American division following the merger between Carnival and P&O Princess in 2002, however Carnival UK is responsible for sales and marketing of the company in the United Kingdom. The company was made famous by The Love Boat TV series, in which two of its ships, the Island Princess and Pacific Princess were featured.
